Thank you for choosing Fantasy Forged for your buylist submission. This policy explains how buylist submissions are reviewed, how final offers are determined, how payment works, and what customers are responsible for before bringing in or mailing cards.
By submitting a buylist to Fantasy Forged, you agree to the terms below.
1. Ways to Sell Cards to Fantasy Forged
Fantasy Forged may offer more than one way to sell cards to us.
Online Buylist
The Online Buylist is the preferred option for customers who want a detailed item-by-item submission and the best visibility into estimated values by card, condition, version, and quantity.
When using the Online Buylist, please select the correct game category, card, printing, version, condition, quantity, and preferred payment method where available.
Easy-Drop Buylist
Fantasy Forged may also offer an Easy-Drop Buylist option for customers who want a faster way to unload a collection or larger group of cards without individually entering every card.
Easy-Drop submissions may receive less detailed pricing before review and may require additional processing time. Fantasy Forged may decline, limit, or redirect Easy-Drop submissions depending on current inventory needs, staffing, or submission volume.
2. Account Requirement
Before submitting a buylist, customers may be required to create or use a FantasyForged.ca account.
Please make sure your account information, name, email address, and payout information are accurate before submitting. Buylist communication and payment information may be sent to the email address connected to your submission.
If your payout needs to be sent to a different email address than the one used for your buylist submission, please include that information in the buylist notes or contact support@fantasyforged.ca before your buylist is processed.
3. Minimum Buylist Amount
A buylist submission must have a minimum total value of $10.00 CAD before it can be processed.
Fantasy Forged may decline submissions below the minimum amount.
4. Age and Payment Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years old to receive payment for a buylist submission.
Customers under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete or approve the payment portion of the transaction on their behalf.
Fantasy Forged may request additional information before issuing payment if needed to confirm payout eligibility or prevent fraud.
5. Estimated Prices Are Not Final Offers
Prices shown in the buylist system are estimated values only and are not a guaranteed final offer.
Buylist prices are provided for informational purposes and should not be considered a binding offer to purchase. Incorrect, outdated, or system-generated prices are not binding.
Buylist prices and quantities in demand are subject to change at any time, for any reason.
The payment amount is not finalized until Fantasy Forged has physically received, reviewed, and processed the submission and issued a final offer.
Fantasy Forged reserves the right to correct obvious pricing, catalog, quantity, or system errors before finalizing any buylist offer.
6. Card Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated, buylist prices are based on Near Mint, English cards.
Cards may receive deductions or be declined if they are:

The wrong set, printing, collector number, rarity, finish, or variant

Missing from the submission

Extra cards not included in the submitted list

Damaged or below our accepted condition threshold

Altered, signed, stamped, serialized, or otherwise unusual

Not currently needed due to overstock or inventory limits
Fantasy Forged reserves the right to refuse any submission, card, or quantity at any time, for any reason.
7. Preparing Your Cards
Before bringing in or mailing cards, please make sure your cards are prepared properly.
Required Preparation

Cards must be sorted in the exact order shown on the buylist checkout page or confirmation email.

The first card on your buylist should be the first face-up card in the stack.

Cards must be removed from binders.
-
Cards must be removed from inner sleeves, outer sleeves, and top loaders unless they are high-value cards.

Do not include extra cards that were not part of the submitted buylist.

Do not substitute cards after submission without contacting Fantasy Forged first.
-
Bulk cards must be visibly separated from individually listed buylist cards.
High-Value Cards
Soft sleeves are acceptable for valuable cards. Additional protection, such as a top loader, may be used for high-value cards where reasonable.
Please do not sleeve every card in a large submission unless Fantasy Forged has specifically instructed you to do so.
Fantasy Forged may remove cards from sleeves or top loaders during review as needed to confirm condition and authenticity.
8. Sorting Fees and Processing Fees
Failure to follow submission guidelines may result in a sorting or processing fee. This fee may be deducted from the final offer.
A 15% sorting fee may apply if cards are not sorted in the exact order shown on the buylist checkout page or confirmation email.
Sorting or processing fees may also apply when:

Cards are submitted in binders.

Cards are submitted in excessive sleeves, inner sleeves, outer sleeves, or top loaders.

Cards are mixed with cards that were not submitted through the buylist.

Bulk cards are not clearly separated.
-
The submitted list does not match the cards provided.
-
A large submission requires additional sorting due to customer preparation errors.
-
Damaged, ineligible, or unapproved bulk cards are included without approval.
Fantasy Forged may decline to process a submission if the preparation issues are too significant.
Repeated violations may result in Fantasy Forged suspending a customer's buylist submission privileges.
9. In-Store Submissions
For in-store submissions, no confirmation or approval email is required unless Fantasy Forged has specifically contacted you with different instructions.
Once your cards are prepared, you may bring your buylist to Fantasy Forged during regular business hours.
Most in-store submissions are processed within 24–48 hours of being received. Processing time may vary depending on submission size, staffing, holidays, release weekends, event volume, or other high-volume periods.
Price-Hold Window for In-Store Drop-Offs
Fantasy Forged will generally honour submitted buylist prices if the cards are received for in-store drop-off within 7 days of submission, subject to condition, accuracy, inventory needs, and the other terms in this policy.
If cards are not received within that timeframe, Fantasy Forged may reprice the submission using then-current buylist prices.
10. Mail-In Submissions
After submitting a mail-in buylist, please email:

Fantasy Forged will review your submitted list within approximately 48 hours and email you if we would like you to ship your cards.
Do Not Ship Until Approved
Please do not mail your cards until Fantasy Forged has approved your mail-in submission.
Fantasy Forged may decline a mail-in submission before shipment due to current inventory levels, submission size, low value, overstock, market changes, or other business reasons.

Mail-In Timeline
Mail-in buylists should be postmarked within 7 days of approval.
Fantasy Forged will generally honour submitted buylist prices if approved mail-in cards are received within 21 days of submission, subject to condition, accuracy, inventory needs, and the other terms in this policy.
If cards are not received within that timeframe, Fantasy Forged may reprice the submission using then-current buylist prices.
Mail-In Processing Time
Once a mailed buylist is received, it usually takes approximately 48 hours to process. Large submissions or submissions with errors may require additional time.
11. Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for safely packaging and shipping mail-in submissions unless Fantasy Forged states otherwise in writing.
Fantasy Forged is not responsible for cards lost, delayed, damaged, or misdelivered in transit before they are received by Fantasy Forged.
If a package arrives damaged, Fantasy Forged may refuse delivery. The customer is responsible for contacting the shipping company to file any required claim.
Tracking is strongly recommended. Insurance is recommended for high-value submissions.
Customers are responsible for shipping, handling, customs, brokerage, postage due, or other carrier-related costs. If a package arrives with payment due, Fantasy Forged may deduct that amount from the final offer. If the buylist total cannot cover those costs, or if the customer rejects the offer, the customer may be required to pay any outstanding shipping, customs, or return costs before cards are returned.
12. Packing Guidelines for Mail-In Buylists
Please pack mail-in buylists carefully to reduce the risk of damage and processing delays.
Required Package Information
Include your name and account information inside the package so Fantasy Forged can match the package to your submission.
If you are sending multiple buylists in one package, each buylist must be clearly separated and identifiable.
Single Buylist, Multiple Packages
Please avoid sending a single buylist in multiple packages.
If a buylist must be split across multiple packages, clearly label each package with the total number of packages being sent, such as:

A buylist cannot be fully processed until all related packages have arrived.
Packing Recommendations

Keep cards in the exact submitted order.

Divide large submissions into clearly labeled stacks or groups.

Use cardboard, paper wraps, team bags, deck boxes, or other reasonable protection to keep cards from shifting.

Fill empty space in the package so cards do not move during transit.

Double-box heavy packages when appropriate.
-
Do not use rubber bands directly on cards.
-
For expensive cards in top loaders, secure the opening without taping directly onto the card or creating a risk of card damage.
No supplies sent as packaging for a mail-in buylist submission, including deck boxes, binders, sleeves, or similar supplies, are guaranteed to be returned.
Do not include returns, payments, unrelated items, or non-buylist materials in the same package as your buylist submission.
13. Card Review and Condition Grading
All cards are reviewed by Fantasy Forged before a final offer is issued.
During review, Fantasy Forged may verify:

Quantity

Authenticity

Current inventory needs
Condition has a major impact on final value. Cards submitted as Near Mint may receive a lower final offer if they are reviewed as Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played, Damaged, or otherwise not in the expected condition.
Fantasy Forged and its team have final say on condition for the purpose of issuing a buylist offer.

14. Deductions, Additions, and Revised Offers
When Fantasy Forged processes a buylist, discrepancies may be found between the submitted information and the physical cards received.
A revised offer may include deductions or additions due to:

Incorrect condition

Incorrect set, printing, version, variant, foil status, or language

Missing cards

Extra cards

Incorrect quantities

Damaged or unacceptable cards

Cards that are not needed due to inventory limits

Pricing changes or system corrections
If errors are found, Fantasy Forged may automatically adjust the final offer.
Fantasy Forged will generally contact the customer for approval if the revised offer is reduced by more than 15% or $100.00 CAD from the submitted total, or in other cases at Fantasy Forged's discretion.
If the revised offer is within that threshold, Fantasy Forged may proceed with the adjusted offer unless the customer contacts us before the buylist is processed.
If customer approval is requested and the customer does not respond within 3 business days, Fantasy Forged may proceed with the adjusted payment and close the transaction.
15. Final Offers and Acceptance
After review, Fantasy Forged will issue a final or revised offer by email.
The final offer may be higher, lower, or the same as the submitted estimate.
A buylist is not complete until the final offer is accepted and payment or store credit has been issued.
Once a final offer is accepted and payment or store credit has been issued, the transaction is final.
Once cards have been processed into Fantasy Forged inventory, the submission cannot be reversed, cancelled, or returned.
Ownership of accepted cards transfers to Fantasy Forged once the final offer is accepted and payment or store credit has been issued.
16. Declined Cards, Rejected Offers, and Returned Cards
Fantasy Forged may decline some or all cards in a submission.
For in-store submissions, declined cards may be returned to the customer after review.
For mail-in submissions, customers are responsible for return shipping if they want declined cards returned.
If the customer rejects an offer or requests that cards be returned, the customer must request the return before the deduction or revised offer is accepted and processed.
Return shipping costs may be deducted from the buylist total. If the buylist total does not cover the return shipping cost, the customer must pay the return shipping cost before cards are mailed back.
Once a deduction, revised offer, or final offer has been accepted and processed, the cards become the property of Fantasy Forged and are no longer eligible to be returned.
Any buylist submission received with excessive errors may be declined and returned at the customer's expense.
17. No Reversals After Inventory Processing
After a buylist has been accepted and processed, cards may be sorted, priced, listed online, placed into inventory, sold, or otherwise integrated into Fantasy Forged operations.
For this reason, accepted buylists cannot be reversed once the cards have entered Fantasy Forged inventory.
Please review your final offer carefully before accepting.
18. Counterfeit or Suspected Counterfeit Cards
Counterfeit or suspected counterfeit cards will not be purchased.
Fantasy Forged reserves the right to refuse counterfeit or suspected counterfeit items and may decline to return items where doing so would risk placing counterfeit goods back into circulation.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that submitted cards are authentic and that they have the right to sell them.
19. Customer Responsibility and Ownership
By submitting a buylist, you confirm that:

You own the submitted cards or are authorized to sell them.

The cards are not stolen or fraudulently obtained.

The cards are not subject to another claim, dispute, or chargeback.

The information provided in your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Sending Fantasy Forged an item as part of a buylist submission constitutes an offer to sell that item as-is, subject to Fantasy Forged's review and final acceptance.
Fantasy Forged may refuse or cancel a buylist submission if there are concerns about ownership, authenticity, fraud, or suspicious activity.
20. Payment Options
Fantasy Forged may offer the following payout methods for approved buylist submissions:

Payment options may vary depending on submission type, payout amount, customer information, country, banking availability, or other operational factors.
Fantasy Forged does not guarantee cash payment for buylist submissions.
All payments are issued after the final offer has been accepted.
Fantasy Forged generally issues payment within 2 business days of buylist approval, though timing may vary depending on submission size, processing volume, banking limits, weekends, holidays, or other operational delays.
E-Transfer
E-transfer payouts are generally available for buylist payouts under $2,000.00 CAD.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they can receive an e-transfer through online banking and that the payout email is correct.
International customers may not be eligible for e-transfer.
Paypal
Paypal payouts may be available for buylist payouts over $2,000.00 CAD.
Paypal are made out to the name provided at the time of submission. Please ensure the name provided matches the name required by your bank.
For mail-in submissions, cheques may be shipped to the address provided during buylist submission. Customers may also be offered in-store pickup where available.
International customers may not be eligible for cheque payment.
Store Credit
Store credit is often the quickest payout method.
Once store credit has been issued, it is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be converted to cash, e-transfer, cheque, another payment method, or another currency unless Fantasy Forged agrees in writing.
You may request to change your payment method before your buylist has been processed. Once a buylist has been processed and payment has been issued, the payment method cannot be changed.
21. Store Credit Usage
Fantasy Forged store credit may be used toward eligible Fantasy Forged purchases online or in-store.
Store credit cannot be used to purchase:

Event tickets

Tournament entries
-
Event registrations
-
Other event-related admission fees

Pre-orders
Fantasy Forged may make exceptions for specific promotions, events, or products, but only when stated clearly by Fantasy Forged.
Store credit cannot be converted into cash after it has been issued unless Fantasy Forged agrees in writing.

22. Taxes on Store Credit Purchases
Applicable taxes still apply to taxable products purchased with store credit, including sealed product.
When store credit is used to purchase sealed product, including booster boxes, booster packs, and other taxable sealed items, 13% HST may still apply.
Store credit functions as a discount or credit against the purchase price and does not remove tax obligations on taxable purchases.
If store credit is used online and the checkout does not collect the required tax correctly, Fantasy Forged may collect the applicable tax amount separately before the order is released, picked up, or shipped.
23. Bulk
All unlisted TCG cards on Fantasy Forged buylists may be treated as bulk, provided they meet current bulk requirements.
Unless otherwise stated, bulk pricing is for Near Mint, English cards only.
Fantasy Forged may not buy bulk for every game at all times.
The store credit bonus, if any, does not apply to bulk product unless Fantasy Forged states otherwise.
Bulk must be clearly separated from individually listed buylist cards.
Because large bulk packages are more likely to be damaged in transit, customers should pack bulk carefully, fill empty space in boxes, and double-box heavy packages when appropriate.
24. Large Submissions
Large submissions may require additional review time.
Fantasy Forged may contact customers about large submissions before processing. We may also limit, pause, or decline large submissions depending on current inventory needs, staffing, storage space, or processing volume.
For very large submissions, Fantasy Forged may perform an initial review to confirm general condition expectations before completing a full review.
25. Communication
Most buylist communication is handled by email.
Please make sure the email address on your submission is correct and that you check your inbox, spam, and junk folders.
Customers are responsible for responding to Fantasy Forged in a timely manner when approval, clarification, or additional information is needed.

26. Policy Updates
Fantasy Forged may update this Buylist Policy at any time.
The policy in effect at the time a submission is reviewed may apply to that submission, especially where updates are required due to system errors, pricing errors, tax handling, fraud prevention, or operational concerns.

Bring your buylist in at your convenience during regular business hours.
Submissions are usually reviewed within 24–48 hours of being received, and your final or revised offer will be emailed after review.

Accepted buylists are final once the final offer has been accepted and payment or store credit has been issued. Once cards have been processed into Fantasy Forged inventory, the transaction cannot be reversed.
