Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel orders placed with Fantasy Forged, including pre-orders, regular orders, and the fees that apply. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Store Credit
Store Credit Usage
Store Credit issued by Fantasy Forged can be used to purchase anything in-store or on our website, except:
- Tournament entries
- Pre-orders
Store Credit and Sealed Products
When Store Credit is used to purchase Sealed Products (booster boxes, booster packs, etc.), sales tax (13% HST) will be added to the purchase as Store Credit functions as a discount, not as payment.

Pre-Order Cancellations
Pre-Order Cancellation Terms
Pre-orders may be canceled subject to the following conditions and fees:
Sealed Product Pre-Orders
Sealed product pre-orders (booster boxes, booster packs, bundles, etc.) can be canceled at any time before shipping.
Cancellation Terms:
- Contact us at support@fantasyforged.ca to request cancellation
- All cancellations incur a 15% processing fee
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method minus the processing fee
- No exceptions will be made to the processing fee
Example:
- Pre-order total: $100.00
- Processing fee (15%): $15.00
- Refund amount: $85.00
TCG Singles Pre-Orders
TCG singles pre-orders must be canceled within 48 hours of the product's official release date to be eligible for a refund.
Cancellation Terms:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the release date
- Contact us at support@fantasyforged.ca to request cancellation
- All cancellations incur a 15% processing fee
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method minus the processing fee
- Cancellation requests received after 48 hours of release will not be accepted
Why This Policy Exists: TCG singles are subject to market price fluctuations. This policy prevents cancellations based on post-release market value changes and ensures fairness to all customers.
Pre-Order Cancellation Process
To cancel a pre-order:
- Contact us immediately at support@fantasyforged.ca
- Include in your email:
- Your order number
- Items you wish to cancel
- Reason for cancellation (optional)
- Wait for confirmation
- We will confirm your cancellation and refund amount
- Refund processing
- Refunds are issued within 10 business days of cancellation approval
Pre-Order Cancellation Restrictions
We cannot accept cancellations for:
- TCG singles pre-orders after 48 hours of release
- Pre-orders that have already shipped
- Pre-orders where the product has been opened or used
Regular Order Cancellations
Canceling Regular Orders
Regular orders (non-pre-orders) can be canceled before shipping.
Cancellation Terms:
- Orders can be canceled before they have been shipped
- All cancellations incur a 15% restocking fee
- Contact us immediately at support@fantasyforged.ca to request cancellation
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method minus the restocking fee
Example:
- Order total: $50.00
- Restocking fee (15%): $7.50
- Refund amount: $42.50
When You Cannot Cancel
We cannot accept cancellations for:
- Orders that have already shipped
- Orders marked as "out for delivery"
- Orders that have been delivered

Regular Order Cancellation Process
To cancel a regular order:
- Contact us immediately at support@fantasyforged.ca
- Include in your email:
- Your order number
- Reason for cancellation (optional)
- Act quickly
- Orders are typically processed within 48-72 hours
- Wait for confirmation
- We will confirm whether your order can be canceled
- Refund processing
- Refunds are issued within 10 business days of cancellation approval
In-Store Pickup Order Cancellations
Uncollected Pickup Orders
In-store pickup orders not collected within 30 days will incur a 15% restocking fee.
Timeline:
- Order is ready for pickup - you receive notification
- 30-day collection window begins
- After 30 days - 15% restocking fee is applied
- Order may be canceled and refunded (minus restocking fee)
To avoid the restocking fee:
- Pick up your order within 30 days of the ready-for-pickup notification
- Contact us if you need an extension or wish to cancel before the 30-day period
Unpaid Orders
Payment Deadline
Unpaid orders must be paid within 7 days of the purchase date.
What Happens:
- Day 1-7: Order is held, awaiting payment
- Day 7: If unpaid, order is automatically canceled
- No refund is issued (as no payment was received)
To complete your order:
- Pay within 7 days of placing your order
- Contact us at support@fantasyforged.ca if you need assistance with payment
Order Limits & Cancellations
Player-First Order Limits
We are dedicated to providing a player-first experience. To prevent bulk purchasing that disadvantages our player community, we enforce quantity limits per individual card:
Maximum Quantities Per Card:
- 4 copies maximum: Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, Pokémon, One Piece, and similar games
- 3 copies maximum: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, and similar games
These limits represent a standard "playset" as defined by each game's rules.
Enforcement & Cancellations
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel orders exceeding quantity limits
- Apply a 15% restocking fee to canceled orders that violate limits
- Refuse service to customers who repeatedly attempt to circumvent limits
- Cancel orders placed using multiple accounts to bypass limits
Limited sealed products have strict quantity limits. Any attempt to bypass these limits through multiple orders, accounts, or other means will result in order cancellation with the 15% restocking fee applied.
No exceptions will be made.
Cancellations by Fantasy Forged
When We May Cancel Your Order
We reserve the right to cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to:
Product or Pricing Issues:
- Product unavailability or stock errors
- Pricing errors or system glitches
- Product description errors
Order Integrity:
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
- Orders exceeding quantity limits
- Orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or bulk purchasers
Technical Issues:
- System malfunctions or errors
- Payment processing failures
Policy Violations:
- Violation of our Terms of Service or other policies
- Attempts to circumvent order limits or other restrictions
What Happens If We Cancel
If we cancel your order:
- We will notify you via email
- A full refund will be issued to your original payment method
- No cancellation or restocking fees will be charged (when we initiate the cancellation)
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days
Refund Processing
Refund Timeline
Once your cancellation is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- The 15% processing/restocking fee is deducted from the refund amount
Refund Method
- Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the card used for purchase
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
- Other payment methods: Refunded via the original payment method
Note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your cancellation, please contact us at support@fantasyforged.ca.
What Is Refunded
Refunded:
- Product cost (minus 15% fee)
- Shipping costs (if order has not shipped)
Not Refunded:
- 15% processing/restocking fee
- Shipping costs (if order has already shipped)
Exceptions & Special Circumstances
Product Defects or Errors
If we made an error or sent you a defective product:
- No cancellation or restocking fees apply
- Full refund or replacement provided
- We cover return shipping costs

Force Majeure Events
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, etc.):
- We may need to cancel pre-orders or regular orders
- Full refunds will be issued with no cancellation fees
- We will notify affected customers as soon as possible
