This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations work for orders placed with Fantasy Forged, including regular orders, pre-orders, in-store pickup orders, unpaid orders, and orders that may be cancelled by Fantasy Forged.
This policy is separate from our Refund Policy, Buylist Policy, Shipping Policy, and Terms of Service. Please review the applicable policy before placing an order.
1. Pre-Order Cancellations
Pre-orders may be cancelled only under the terms listed below.
To request a pre-order cancellation, contact:

Fantasy Forged will confirm whether your cancellation request is eligible and, if approved, the refund amount.
A cancellation is not confirmed until Fantasy Forged has reviewed and approved the request.
2. Sealed Product Pre-Orders
Sealed product pre-orders include items such as booster boxes, booster packs, bundles, sealed decks, and similar sealed products.
Sealed product pre-orders may be cancelled before the order has shipped.
Cancellation Terms
- Cancellation requests must be sent to support@fantasyforged.ca.
- Approved cancellations are subject to a 15% processing fee.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus the processing fee.
- No exceptions will be made to the processing fee unless Fantasy Forged caused the issue.
- Pre-orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.
Example
If your sealed product pre-order total was $100.00, the 15% processing fee would be $15.00, and the refund amount would be $85.00.
3. TCG Singles Pre-Orders
TCG singles pre-orders are subject to stricter cancellation limits because singles can change significantly in market value around release.
TCG singles pre-orders must be cancelled within 48 hours of the product's official release date to be eligible for a refund.

- Cancellation requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the official release date.
- Cancellation requests must be sent to support@fantasyforged.ca.
- Approved cancellations are subject to a 15% processing fee.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus the processing fee.
- Cancellation requests received after the 48-hour release window will not be accepted.
- TCG singles pre-orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.
This policy exists because TCG singles are subject to market price fluctuations. It helps prevent cancellations based on post-release market changes and keeps the process fair for all customers.
4. Regular Order Cancellations
Regular orders are orders that are not pre-orders.
Regular orders may be cancelled before they have shipped.
Cancellation Terms
- Cancellation requests must be sent to support@fantasyforged.ca as soon as possible.
- Orders can only be cancelled before they have shipped.
- Approved cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus the restocking fee.
Example
If your regular order total was $50.00, the 15% restocking fee would be $7.50, and the refund amount would be $42.50.
When Regular Orders Cannot Be Cancelled
Fantasy Forged cannot cancel regular orders that have already:
- Shipped
- Been marked as out for delivery
- Been delivered
- Been picked up
If your order has already shipped or been delivered, please review our Refund Policy for information about returns, if applicable.
5. Regular Order Cancellation Process
To request cancellation of a regular order:
- Email support@fantasyforged.ca as soon as possible.
- Include your order number.
- Include your reason for cancellation, if you would like to provide one.
- Wait for Fantasy Forged to confirm whether the order can still be cancelled.
Orders are typically processed within 48–72 hours, so cancellation requests should be sent as quickly as possible.
A cancellation is not confirmed until Fantasy Forged has reviewed and approved the request.
6. In-Store Pickup Order Cancellations
In-store pickup orders must be collected within 30 days of the ready-for-pickup notification.
Uncollected Pickup Orders
If an in-store pickup order is not collected within 30 days:
- A 15% restocking fee may be applied.
- The order may be cancelled.
- The remaining balance may be refunded to the original payment method after the restocking fee is deducted.
To Avoid the Restocking Fee
Please pick up your order within 30 days of receiving your ready-for-pickup notification.
If you need more time, contact support@fantasyforged.ca before the 30-day period ends. Extensions may be granted at Fantasy Forged's discretion.
7. Unpaid Orders
Unpaid orders must be paid within 7 days of the purchase date.
Payment Timeline
- Day 1–7: The order is held while awaiting payment.
- After Day 7: If payment has not been received, the order may be automatically cancelled.
No refund is issued for unpaid orders because no payment was received.

8. Order Limits and Player-First Purchasing
Fantasy Forged is committed to supporting a player-first community. To help prevent bulk purchasing that disadvantages local players and collectors, we may enforce quantity limits on certain products.
Standard Singles Quantity Limits
Unless otherwise stated, maximum quantities may be limited to a standard playset for each game:
- 4 copies maximum: Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, Pokémon, One Piece, and similar games
- 3 copies maximum: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, and similar games
Fantasy Forged may apply different limits to certain products, formats, promotions, releases, or limited-stock items.
Limit Enforcement
Fantasy Forged reserves the right to:
- Cancel orders that exceed quantity limits
- Apply a 15% restocking fee to cancelled orders that violate stated limits
- Refuse service to customers who repeatedly attempt to bypass limits
- Cancel orders placed using multiple accounts, names, addresses, or payment methods to bypass limits
Limited sealed products may have strict quantity limits. Attempts to bypass these limits through multiple orders, multiple accounts, or other methods may result in cancellation with the 15% restocking fee applied.
9. Cancellations by Fantasy Forged
Fantasy Forged reserves the right to cancel any order when necessary.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
Product or Pricing Issues
- Product unavailability
- Stock errors
- Pricing errors
- System glitches
- Product description errors
Order Integrity
- Suspected fraud
- Unauthorized transactions
- Orders exceeding quantity limits
- Orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or bulk purchasers
- Attempts to bypass order limits or other restrictions
Technical or Payment Issues
- System malfunctions
- Payment processing failures
- Failed or incomplete payment
Policy Violations
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Violation of store policies
- Abuse of promotions, discounts, or purchase limits
10. What Happens If Fantasy Forged Cancels an Order
If Fantasy Forged cancels an order for reasons not caused by customer policy violations:
- We will notify you by email.
- A full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- No cancellation, processing, or restocking fee will be charged.
Refunds are generally processed within 10 business days of cancellation approval.
If an order is cancelled because of a policy violation, attempted limit bypass, suspected fraud, or other customer-caused issue, Fantasy Forged may apply the applicable restocking or processing fee where allowed by this policy.
11. Refund Processing
Once a cancellation is approved, refunds are generally processed within 10 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Refund Methods
- Credit or debit card: refunded to the card used for purchase
- PayPal: refunded to the PayPal account used for purchase
- Other payment methods: refunded through the original payment method where possible
Your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor may require additional time to post the refund after Fantasy Forged has processed it.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your cancellation refund was approved, please contact support@fantasyforged.ca.
12. What Is Refunded
Refunded
- Product cost, minus any applicable processing or restocking fee
- Shipping costs, if the order has not shipped
Not Refunded
- The 15% processing fee, where applicable
- The 15% restocking fee, where applicable
- Shipping costs, if the order has already shipped
- Return shipping costs, unless Fantasy Forged caused the issue
13. Product Defects or Fantasy Forged Errors
If Fantasy Forged made an error or sent a defective or incorrect product:
- No cancellation or restocking fee applies.
- A full refund, correction, or replacement may be provided.
- Fantasy Forged may cover return shipping where required.

14. Force Majeure and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
In the event of circumstances beyond Fantasy Forged's control, we may need to cancel pre-orders or regular orders.
Examples may include:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- Pandemics
- Supply chain disruptions
- Distributor shortages
- Allocation changes
- Carrier disruptions
- Other events outside our reasonable control
If Fantasy Forged cancels an order for one of these reasons, a full refund will be issued with no cancellation fee. We will notify affected customers as soon as possible.
